Being more than merely an aid distribution programme, the Sakhalin Indigenous Minorities Development Plan is creating opportunities for the Sakhalin Indigenous Minorities to acquire new knowledge and experience in field of active discussion and resolution of issues of critical importance to them. A product of successful collaboration among the indigenous minorities, the Company and the authorities, the Development Plan is notable for empowering the Sakhalin Indigenous Minorities to choose their own path to sustainable future.

Mini-Grants Fund Programme

Mini-Grants Fund Programme “To Save Traditions” is aimed at support initiatives and development of potential of Indigenous People of Sakhalin.

The programme intends to support socially useful activities of non-commercial organisations, public associations, initiative groups of Indigenous People of Sakhalin as well as communities, tribal enterprises and other structures acting in the Sakhalin Oblast.

The priorities of the programme include: support of social and environmental projects aimed at saving and development of traditional way of life, etc.
